This Knysna 440 is a four cabin version with Galley open plan onto Saloon and is in excellent condition, maintained by one discerning owner since launch in Nov. 2007. With the four double berths and three heads, this Cat is perfect for charter work or family life away from home.

 

Navigation is looked after by Raymarine and equipped with Radar, Chart Plotter and a fish finder along with the usual speed, depth and wind systems completing the sailing instrumentation. She is equipped with SSB HF radio for long range voice communication as well as a modem for Sailmail. “Green” powered with four solar panels and a wind generator.

 

 

 

She is fitted with a Spectra Watermaker that allows generous usage of water onboard, perfect for those balmy days at anchor in the Maldives. Electric toilets add to the comfort onboard whilst entertainment onboard is covered with a full sound system and a TV in the saloon.

 

If the heat is too hot in the Galley, a stainless steel stern mounted barbeque allows the skipper or crew to take charge of the meat on the “fire” whilst the hostess can take a breather from cooking in the gas oven or microwave oven.

Sailing safety is covered with an 8 man liferaft and a full inventory of safety equipment which is SAMSA approved for long distance cruising. An Epirb rounds off this package for that added security whilst on those long passages between idyllic anchorages.

Sailing the yacht is made easy with Electric Winch for hoisting the main which runs on a Harken Batt Car system. Roller furler Genoa with a storm Jib and an asymmetric spinnaker rounds off the sail inventory.
