Description:

Barbara Ann is a Swedish built center cockpit blue water world cruiser, with one circumnavigation under her belt and completely ready to go again on short notice. To say she’s completely equipped is an understatement; her knowledgeable owner has spared no expense to keep her ready for her next trip to Brazil and beyond, should the boat not sell by early 2023. An excellent sea-going workhorse; she loves 25 knots of wind and a nice sea to plow through. Najad quality is legendary – they’re built on the same island in Sweden as Hallberg Rassy and are built to the same high standards as the Rassys. Yachts built to this 1990’s quality, with all the equipment onboard and ready to cross oceans, are a rare thing on the market today, especially in South Africa where the yacht is currently based.

Barbara Ann was just hauled, in early 2022, for an Awlgrip re-do of the classic red trim and boot stripes, as well as new bottom painting. She looks amazing with her new trim stripes. Lots of new equipment are included with the yacht; there’s very little that’s needed before setting off on her next adventure. Many custom additions and improvements throughout the vessel – too many to list.
